Elderly Wishes Adult Daycare Center

WHAT IS ELDERLY WISHES ADULT DAY CARE?
Elderly Wishes Adult Day Care was established in 1988. We are located in First English Lutheran Church but are a separate nonprofit, 501(C)3 state accredited corporation welcoming all who need care.

We offer a structured, comprehensive program that provides a variety of social programming and health support in a protective setting during the daytime hours. We have a secure facility with a stable, dedicated staff including two registered nurses. Our fees cover all costs, including transportation.

We are governed by a board of directors and administered by Director Christopher Bowe.

We are funded through Social Service Block Grants, donations/memorials from community members and businesses, and participant fees. We are certified by the State of Georgia – Division of Disability, Aging and Rehabilitative Services and the Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) under the Aged, Disabled and Developmentally Disabled Medicaid Waivers. We have a level three Georgiaa licensure for Adult Day Services.

The center has provided over 500,000 hours of service and has a capacity to serve over fifty people every day. Attendance is prescheduled and varies according to the client needs.
